Vanilla Cupcakes

Vanilla Cupcakes is the most liked flavor of cupcakes due to its delicious taste and simplicity. These are fluffy, tender and sweet treats specially liked by children.

They are light brown in color and have slightly domed shaped  appearance covered with the swirl of topping (whipped cream) and decorated with fruits(optional).

They are light and moist with a delicate crumb that melts in mouth. A cupcake which is baked perfectly always have a quite soft and springy texture and moist interior.

The flavor of these cupcakes is inviting, sweet and fragrant. They are often paired with creamy frosting to enhance its flavor and richness.

The ultimate thing is you can serve these to your kids and your guest as well.

Ingredients

Wet ingredients

Oil (flavorless) 1/2 cup

Granulated Sugar – 3/4 cup

Vanilla extract – 1tsp

Curd – 1 cup

Dry ingredients

Baking Powder – 1tsp

Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp

All Purpose Flour – 1+ 1/2 cup

Instruction

1.Preheat your oven at 325 degree F and line up your cupcake tin with liners and set aside

 

2. Take a bowl, add all the wet ingredients which are Oil, Sugar, Curd and Vanilla Extract and give a mix until light and fluffy, for about 2-3 minutes.

3. Then sieve Baking Powder and Baking Soda in the batter, give a gentle whisk with hand whisker for 1 minute so that it get dissolve completely and keep it on rest for 2 minutes. The baking soda will react with the curd and form bubbly texture.

4. After that add all purpose flour in three portions and mix using cut and fold method with a silicon spatula after every portion. If you add the flour in one go it would create lumps in the batter and the cupcakes will not baked perfectly.

5. If you think the batter is thick you can add 2 tbsp of room temperature milk. Remember the batter should be in flowing consistency.

6. Divide the batter evenly in the pre-prepared liners. Do not fill the liners completely. 2/3 part of the liners should be filled.

7. Bake them in pre-heated oven for about 20 minutes or until the toothpick comes put clean.

 

8. let the cupcakes cooled completely before decorating them.

9. Once they are cooled, decorate them with the whipped cream of any flour you can use any cream homemade or ready to use and add toppings and sprinkles of your choice.

 

Your perfectly baked vanilla cupcakes are ready.

Notes

Always sieve the dry ingredients before use because they allow the cupcake to get more fluffy while baking and they enhance the appearance and texture. Which overall is required for the perfect appearance of cupcakes.

Do not overmix the batter as if your do this it will create more air bubbles which will lead to excessive rising and then collapse when the cupcakes are cooled.

Pre heat the oven and muffin tin before  preparing the batter .

The batter should be lumps free.
