Tiramisu is an Italian dessert made of ladyfinger pastries dipped in coffee, layered with whipped mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone and flavored with cocoa.
Certainly here’s a no bake Tiramisu recipe that you can easily make at your home. This Italian dessert is rich creamy and bursting with coffee and Cocoa flavors.
Ingredients
For cream filling:
Heavy cream -1 cup
Mascarpone cheese – 8oz
granulated sugar – 1/2 cup
vanilla extract – 1tsp
For the coffee soak:
Strong brewed coffee- 1 cup
Coffee liqueur – 2 tbsp
Granulated sugar – 1cup
For assembly:
ladyfinger cookies – 24-30
unsweetened cocoa powder
Chocolate shaving
Instructions:
How to prepare coffee soak?
- Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool at room temperature. For an authentic flavor, use espresso if possible.
- In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee, coffee liqueur (optional), one tablespoon of sugar. Just stir the mixture to dissolve the sugar completely.
How to make the cream filling?
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks forms, Be careful not to overbake.
- In another bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese with 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the whip cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined. The filling should be light and airy.
How to assemble Tiramisu?
1.Well coat the each ladyfinger into the coffee soak with a quick dip but it should not be soggy.
2.Arrange them in a dish.
3.Spread half of the mascarpone filling evenly over the layer of soaked ladyfingers.
4.Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers, them top with the remaining mascarpone filling
5.Smooth out the top with the use of a spatula to get a even surface.
6.Now its turn to cover the assembled tiramisu with a plastic wrap and keep it in a freezer overnight or at least for 4 hours so that every flavor would meld together.
7.Before serving just dust some cocoa powder on the top or for some extra elegance you can also add the chocolate chunks or shavings which is completely optional.
8.Slice the Tiramisu into squares and enjoy!

How to store Tiramisu?
You can cover the Tiramisu with Plastic wrap or if the tiramisu is sliced you can keep it in an airtight container or can place it in a refrigerator for 3-4 days easily. The flavor will improve after a day because all the ingredients will meld together.
For a long term storage, you can keep the Tiramisu in freezer. First you have to place the Tiramisu in freezer for 1-2 hours and let it firm up. Its always best to store it in individual pieces because it would be easy to serve. Cover the each individual slices with the plastic wrap and keep them in the freezer for around 2-3 months.
Notes
The coatings over the surface are completely optional.
If you are not able to find mascarpone cheese, the substitution is 6 ounces of cream cheese and 2 tbsp of heavy cream.
In order to try something new flavor or twists use hazelnut or amaretto liqueur instead of coffee liqueur.
The measurement of all the ingredients should be accurate.
